On November 14, 2018, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, Massanutten Technical Center will be hosting a luncheon for area businesses to learn about MTC’s new Youth Registered Apprenticeship program.
MTC’s Youth Registered Apprenticeship program will build career pathways for students, enhance school to work initiatives, and increase workplace readiness skills. These Youth Apprentices will receive the training and nationally recognized credentials needed to be workforce-ready and will be a valuable asset in expanding Virginia’s skilled workforce. All area employers interested in learning more about becoming a Youth Registered Apprenticeship sponsor are encouraged to attend the luncheon. Guest speakers will be Faith Clayton, Virginia Department of Labor and Industry Apprenticeship Consultant and Debby Hopkins, V2V-SVWDB.
