EMPLOYMENT SERVICES FOR VETERANS

Veterans receive priority of service and are connected to employment opportunities and supported by dedicated veterans’ service representatives.  Employment services for veterans include:

  • Job readiness assessment, including interviews and testing
  • Development of an Individual Employment Plan
  • Career counseling that helps veterans in making training and career decisions
  • Labor Market and occupational information
  • Referral to job banks and job openings
  • Early Access to job openings
  • Referral to employers and registered apprenticeship sponsors
  • Referral to training by WIOA funded or third party providers

Serving:  Augusta, Highland, Page, Rockbridge and Rockingham Counties and the Cities of Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro, and Lexington.
